West Ham 0 Man City 4
Manchester City secured yet another big victory at the London Stadium on Wednesday night after they thrashed West Ham 4-0 in the Premier League – just over three weeks after beating the Hammers 5-0 in the FA Cup.
Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute before David Silva doubled City’s lead with his close-range effort four minutes later.
Gabriel Jesus, on his first Premier League start, then gave Pep Guardiola’s side a comfortable 3-0 lead with his first top-flight goal six minutes before the break before Yaya Toure’s penalty later in the second half ensured City moved level on points with fourth-placed Liverpool.
Both sides had come into the clash at the London Stadium full of confidence, with West Ham having won their last two league games while City disposed of Crystal Palace 3-0 in the FA Cup at the weekend.
