New Essex Police recruits welcomed
Thirty-eight new Essex Police recruits were welcomed into the force at a passing out ceremony in Chelmsford.
Attended by Chief Constable Stephen Kavanagh, Police and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst, Lord Lieutenant John Petre and MP Rebecca Harris, the ceremony took place on Friday.
The officers have spent the last 20 weeks training to become Police Constables and after pledging their commitment to serve the residents of Essex.
Mr Kavanagh thanked the team for all of their hard work during their training and wished them well in their future. He also held a minutes silence for the victims of the tragic events in Westminster.
