Have your say on new primary school places

by | Jan 8, 2017 | Essex News

If you are a Colchester resident, you have until 31 Jan 2017 to share your views online about proposals to create 1,085 new primary school places across five existing Colchester schools from September 2018. All five projects would involve new teaching blocks, enhanced external areas for outdoor PE and play spaces, and increased car parking. According to the council’s ten year plan, Meeting the demand for school places in Essex 2016 – 2025, Colchester, which is one of the fastest growing areas in Essex, will need 2,541 new primary and 2,615 secondary places over the next decade. You can find out more about the proposals and have your say by attending one of five public drop-in sessions between 10 and 17 January 2017.
