Chelmsford City will have no fear at Tranmere Rovers

Captain Anthony Church believes the number of experienced players at Chelmsford City means they have nothing to fear when they face Tranmere Rovers on Saturday in the FA Trophy.

Tranmere have a rich recent history having been on the brink of promotion to the Premier League three times during the 1990s, while also reaching the League Cup final in 2000.

Their Prenton Park stadium has a capacity of 16,567, but Church feels players like Chris Dickson, who featured in the Champions League and Europa League for AEL Limassol, mean the Clarets have no reason to be worried.

Church said: “You can get younger players who get like a rabbit in the headlights with the big pitch and a hostile crowd especially with us being a southern team.
